Vinted Shoppers Share Displeasure Regarding Sizing Updates
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its sizing categories for women's and children's clothes failing to inform all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with other platforms.
It has advised users to check their listings and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Size Classification Modifications
Previously, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Required Changes
Another shopper, located in England, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, because of my ongoing medical condition and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she stated.
Service Background
The service features exceeding 100 million shoppers, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: previously, the platform withdrew an update regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
