The EU might “act quickly and firmly” in response to what it calls “unjustified” travel bans issued by the US against five European individuals working on fighting online hate and misinformation, an EU official stated.
EU Officials Decry US Move as ‘Coercion’
Officials from Europe such as Emmanuel Macron accused Washington of “coercion and intimidation”, after the travel bans targeted individuals who have been central to efforts to introduce laws governing American tech companies.
